I. Company Building

"If you look at history, some of our greatest leaders used shocking or negative events to push through much-needed reforms that otherwise would have had little chance of passing." That is out of Ryan Holiday's book The Obstacle is the Way which is a fantastic read. Seconding this notion of opportunity in a crisis, I wanted to share with you my own take on the subject from a year ago. This perspective helped a lot of people to recognize chances for themselves and I hope it does the same for you.

II. People

Without a highly motivated team, any project will get stuck rather sooner than later. I found Dan Pink's book Drive to be an extremely insightful book that helped me structure my company in a way most motivating for our teams. Here is a great summary that I hope helps you think of a few novel ideas to break complacency in your team.

III. Digital Product

I thoroughly enjoyed the in-depth discussion on the Product Strategy Stack on the Reforge Blog (highly recommended as a great source for product). The article breaks down the components from the company mission all the way down to Product Goals against which execution can be measured.
