Hi Shaper ✌️

Welcome to this year's last edition of INFUZED.

I don't know about you, but to me, it's hard to believe that 2022 is already coming to a close.

While every single day of the year is a fresh start for whatever we want to tackle, the end of the calendar year presents us with a beautiful pattern interrupt that reminds us to reflect and plan ahead.

Making new plans & new year's resolutions are great fun, but for true growth and meaningful steps forward reflection is key.

“We do not learn from experience...we learn from reflecting on experience.” ― John Dewey

We do them professionally, but they are even more valuable for our personal life: annual reviews.

Here is

"The Ultimate Annual Review"

From finding your way around town or on a hike to finding your way through life(!), it's difficult to know where to head if you don't know where you've been and where you are right now.

There are a million ways to do a personal annual review. The best one I ever did and which I will do again this year is the one Steve Schlafman puts out. It helps me give structure to the process while making sure I do come along all the important steps.

The 6 Steps as he introduces them:

Moments & Milestones: What were your significant moments, milestones and memories?

Reflections & Lessons: What were your lessons and learnings from this year?

Current Life Assessment: How satisfied are you in 12 life dimensions?

Intentions: What would you like to change and accomplish next year?

Goals & Action Plan: What are your goals and immediate next steps?

Future Self: What do you want to write to your future self at the end of next year?

If you just want to do a brief one, you can use these 6 questions to guide you.

I do recommend going for & through the full blueprint by downloading Steve's guiding blueprint at annualreview.life in your favorite format (Notion, Google Docs, or PDF).

I hope it is super helpful for you, too, by highlighting the important memories from 2022 and giving you clarity going forward into 2023!

The Ultimate Annual Review

CHALLENGE

Commit to doing a personal annual review over the next few days & weeks.

Hint: no need to wait until January to set the foundations for a fantastic year ahead!

I wish you a Merry Christmas, time to decompress & find clarity, and some incredible conversations with your loved ones.

Have an amazing rest of your year,

David
